What I remember
You’ve been my crush for as long as I can remember. I always thought you were cute — effortlessly so. But I never imagined I’d actually ask you out. Not in a million years did I think I’d be the guy writing a flirty reply to your post.
I still remember typing that comment. I paused. Stared at the screen. Debated whether I should hit send. It felt new. Risky. Slightly insane.
And then I did.
That one click started the most beautiful roller-coaster ride of my life.

The Day Everything Felt Real
Our first date, and the shift I never forgot.

What I was thinking
I was nervous. Properly nervous. I was trying very hard to act like it wasn’t my first date.
And then you walked in wearing red — and suddenly I forgot every line my brain had rehearsed. You looked gorgeous. Unfairly gorgeous.
At the table, you kept accidentally hitting your leg against the chair leg.😂 I was trying to be smooth, and you were battling furniture. It was perfect.
Then you did something the patriarchy didn’t see coming — you paid. Actually, I was prepared to pay, but I thought the bill would come at the end. 😭
After we left, I asked, “Can we take a photo?” You thought I was asking you to take my picture. I don’t know why that was your first assumption 😂, but I’m glad you figured it out. 😼
And that photo — the one right above this — was the moment I realised… this wasn’t just a crush anymore. It was getting real.

When It Turned Into Us
Late-night talks, inside jokes, and a little shift.
Somewhere around here…
The days started blending into late-night video calls that stretched way past “we should sleep.”
Somewhere between the laughs, the silence, and the sleepy goodnights… we started talking about the things we don’t usually say out loud. The insecurities. The doubts. The “what if I’m not enough” thoughts.
And instead of running from them, we stayed.
We reassured. We listened. We believed in each other on days when belief felt hard.
Somewhere around here, love stopped being just butterflies and started becoming comfort. It became knowing that no matter how chaotic the world felt, there was one person who understood.
Somewhere around here, I started wanting you to be my home.
